PRESS: Russia seeks unified standard of bonuses for top execs
MOSCOW, Mar 24 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Economic Development Ministry has proposed a unified standard of bonuses to top executives of state firms, which was on the whole approved by First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, business daily Vedomosti reported Friday citing sources.
The ministry has proposed a fixed annual salary of less than 50% of the remuneration and a variable part depending on the key performance indicator (KPI).
The proposal evoked opposition from some state companies, as initially officials also offered a bonus not depending on KPI so that top management could receive bonuses even in the crisis.
Shuvalov ordered the document be finalized by April 5.
